I started going to
the gym a couple of months ago and I guess it’s safe to say that I have learned
to love running as an exercise. I would shy the thought of jogging or running
before but today, it’s a different story. That’s why I am really excited about
joining this year’s COLOR MANILA RUN. I have participated in fun runs before
but this one is just a bit more exciting and literally, COLORFUL!
Following last
year’s successful staging of CM Blacklight Davao, Color Manila Events Inc., the
prime purveyor of colorful fun runs in the country, brings its signature CM
Blacklight event back to the “Crown Jewel of Mindanao”, Davao City, this August
12, 2017, Saturday. The starting point will the at SM Lanang Premier Mall.
Coinciding with
this year’s 32nd Kadayawan Festival, the highly-anticipated,
non-timed night run will once again witness participants have the time of their
lives while running at their own pace and illuminating Davao City’s
thoroughfares with headlamps, neon-colored powder, and bright, contagious
smiles. To the Davaoeños delight, the running event will be followed by a Color
Festival, where the participants get to douse each other in glow-in-the-dark
tinted powder while swaying to the rhythm of today’s hits under the moonlit and
star-studded skies—fueling
the frolic and festivities in the city.

up your festive spirits and put your game face on as we treat you to an
energy-charged evening brimming with lively colors, lights, and endless
laughter at the CM Blacklight! This is going to be a timely equalizer and a
revel-filled respite from a whole day of feasting over scrumptious food during
the Festival, so we can’t wait to light up Davao, tap on your healthy side, and
run and dance the night away!” shares Color Manila VP Justine Cordero.
Registrants of CM Blacklight Davao 2017 have the
option to run for 3K, 5K, or 10K categories, and can select between the Deluxe,
Rockstar, and the Superstar kits.
Here are the inclusions of each of the three kits:
Priced at Php 750, the Deluxe kit includes a costume
singlet, costume prop, race bib, costume drawstring bag, finisher’s medal, and
a color packet.
The Rockstar, on one hand, is valued at P1,050, and
includes a Dri-FIT shirt, race bib, headlamp, drawstring bag, color packet, and
finisher’s medal. This is the kit that I want because of the drifit shirt that comes along with it.
And last but not the least is the Superstar, which
is priced at Php 1,500 which includes a Dri-FIT shirt, race bib, headlamp,
three drawstring bags, headwear, CM sticker, color packet, and finisher’s
medal.
Onsite registration and kit claiming is ongoing
daily up until August 12, 2017, from 11:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the CM Booth
located at Upper Ground Floor, in front of Charles and Keith SM Lanang Premier.
Interested participants may also opt to sign up through cash via prepaid cards,
which are available at Chris Sports SM Lanang Premier and Toby’s Abreeza Mall
Davao outlets, online via PayPal, or purchase SM Tickets at any SM Cinema booth
nationwide.
