There’s just something about this new family of mine that
makes me excited whenever we get together.
I’m talking about the new family I found with Davao Bloggers
Society (DBS). The group is composed of amazing individuals – students and
professionals - who have contributed to the organization in his or her own way.
It’s not all the time that we get so see each other though
because the events we go to cannot accommodate all of us. Some members work as
far as Tagum and General Santos City. That’s why an event such as the GA is
something we all look forward to because both old and new members mingle with
each other and those who work outside of the city really give time to grace the
gathering. It is an occasion when almost everybody shows up, making it an even
happier occasion.
Topics that were discussed during the GA were not only
beneficial to the new members, but also became a refresher course as well to
those who have been with DBS for years. The hosting styles of Jexx Hinggo of www.jexxhinggo.com and Social Media
Manager of DBS added more fun and laughter to the event. Thanks to Jexx, there
was never a dull moment.

DBS is also very blessed with sponsors. We had giveaways

to name a few.

I can’t wait for our Acquaintance party this year and meet
new blogger friends. The organization is growing bigger and bigger each year. I
am indeed very grateful for this family.
