Malita and Jose Abad Santos, Davao Occidental

June 12, 2014

Philippine Independence Day Getaway with Mark.

Malita is a three-hour drive from the south of Davao City while Jose Abad Santos is another three-hour (quite rough) drive from Malita, passing Don Marcelino on the way.

Pictures during our road trip

After driving straight from the south of Davao, turn left when you see this sign.

Lovin' the mountain view while on the road

Behind us is the beautiful beach in Malita. It has rocky gray sand on the shores.

Off to see JAS

Beautiful beach in Jose Abad Santos. The water is just simply lovely to look at with its crystal blue color. It's not really the type of beach where you want to flatten your beach towels and soak all day because of the quality of the sand on the shore, but it's the type of scenery you'd want to look at for a couple of hours while sitting on a chair at the baywalk.

You know you're already in JAS when you see its BAYWALK sign :)

It's really a privilege to be given the opportunity to see the beauty that not a lot of people know that exists. And I'm glad I was able to see a fraction of what Davao Occidental has to offer. I hope that other people will be given that opportunity too. Until Next Time, Davao Occ. Thank you for the fun day.

XOXO,

AVI

Eden has rooms where tourists can spend the night in. Their rooms are clean and decent. Some have shared bathrooms (Aster rooms) while the others have their own private bathrooms. Rooms are also good for more than two people so groups can share one room (but not super many!) and it comes with free breakfast and dinner too but it depends on the package. Food served is really delicious.

Eden is around 45 mins to an hour away from the City Proper (depends on the traffic).

XOXO,
